Policy Statement

1. Integrity management

“Integrity” is the essence of DCC's business philosophy. DCC insists on the compliance with the rule of law and ethical standards. DCC also respects stakeholder rights and builds mutual-trust dialog to improve information transference and has incorporated the ESG Policy into DCC's operational decisions and development directions.

2. Practice green production

DCC continues to refine its manufacturing process, promote industrial waste reduction, and implement pollution prevention, while developing various technologies. As “environmental sustainability” is one of DCC's primary objectives, GHG reduction pathways have at the same time been planned. The Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Team was formed in 2018 and a DCC Carbon Neutrality Team in 2021. These Teams report to the chairman and presidents on net-zero carbon emission technologies and transition strategies once a quarter, fulfilling environmental protection and social responsibility, moving towards sustainable management.

3. Fulfill social civic responsibility

DCC follows internationally recognized labor human rights to prohibit discrimination and ensure work opportunity equality. To fulfill social civic responsibility and achieve a better society, 5 actions of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focusing on the value of common good are adhered to, including “improving health and well-being at all ages,” “cultivating chemical talent,” “practice new thinking of responsible production,” “strengthen industrial environmental safety and health,” and “integrating community resources and exchanges.”
