Responsible Care
 DCC participated in Taiwan's Responsible Care Program in 2000 and the participants of the program required to commit themselves to measure progress regularly and ensure continuous improvements to the management of chemicals and environmental, health and safety issues. trac
Member companies pledge to manage their businesses according to these principles:
  • Comply with all laws and regulations which affect company operations and products.
  • Actively support the government and academics to develop responsible laws, regulations and standards.
  • Manufacture only those products that can be transported, stored, used and disposed safely.
  • Give health, safety and environmental considerations a priority in plans for existing and new products and processes.
  • Support research which reduces the adverse effects of chemical products, protects the health and safety of employees, contractors and the public.
  • Operate plans and facilities in a manner that pre-serves the environment and protects the health and safety and on the environment.
  • Share experiences and offer assistance to customers, contractors and others who produce, handle, use, transport or dispose of chemicals to ensure they understand the hazards of chemical products.
  • Communicate openly on the nature of Responsible Care activities and report progress of performance.
